Heiniger Style Midi Trimmer
Professional, powerful trimmer with the quality you would expect from Heiniger. This trimmer can be used cordless or directly from the mains, meaning you are never without use. The unique design is much more comfortable and ergonomic as the head is tilted. This also means you can get a more precise cut for delicate work as it moves better with the curve and shape of the animal.
Features an operating time of up to 100 minutes, with a recharge time of 60 minutes. Features a 46mm wide blade which can adjust to a number of different short length cuts, making this perfect for feet, faces and other delicate areas. Uses a very silent operation with low vibration, making this perfect for more nervous pets.
12 months warranty. Uk Plug 240 volts
Heiniger Midi Spare Blade available.

Its not as easy as the WHARl Arco, which I love but only last me around 3 months before I have to replace it at £120 a time. I think this will last longer as the blade unit is self contained and seems to be a lot more robust. I hope so anyway.

Excellent trimmer - very high quality. Attachment combs are really good - wish you could get metal ones though. Has convinced me to save for a Heiniger cordless cutter rather than mains cords getting in the way!

I bought these to replace my 2 year old ARCOs that were falling apart. Although the trimmer is comfortable to hold and look nice, thats about the only positives I can find. The blade appeared blunt straight out of the box with only the middle settings actually cutting effectively. They are no quieter than the ARCOs and don't vibrate any less. One of my own dogs (schnauzer) hates them near his ears and I've been clipping his ears for 7 years. The charge doesn't last as long as stated and you need to keep it docked on the charger between uses. The blade is quite stiff to remove for cleaning and not easy to relocate it back on the clipper. They don't appear to clip as cleanly as the ARCOs and quite often find myself covering the same area several times to get a clean clip as it leaves tufts of hair. Plus the little cleaning brush was missing out of the box!! Very disappointed especially as they are sooooo expensive compared to other trimmers.
