Can the blade be switched out for a replaceable one size blade like #802179?
Or can it only accommodate the adjustable blade?

Hi Carolyn, you wouldn't be able to switch this blade out for that style of blade as it only takes the adjustable trimmer blade. Thanks for getting in touch.

This trimmer comes with 6 comb guides - 1/8”, ¼”, 3/8”, ½”, ¾”, 1”.

Hi Colin, This is a good trimmer for doing those areas. As im sure you know this would not be suitable for full body grooms. But for feet,paws and face this is great. Thank you for your question
