I had to give away my Andis Clipper because my dog hates the noise it makes. Thanks to the Aesculap Exacta I can at least give his ears and paws a good trimming. In addition, the machine is particularly useful between the pads of each paw.

I bought these for extremely nervous cats and they are perfect because they are so quiet with little vibration. Also very light and easy to hold and manipulate. Would highly recommend to anyone in the same situation.

So glad I bought these trimmers, they make clearing out the pads so much easier on the smaller dogs. They are light, comfortable to hold, and are quiet so dogs don't mind them either. Highly recommend.

Great handy small trimmer for the dogs paws. There was one confusion of the charging light flashing which we think it is when the battery is fully charged as the instructions very basic.

Bought to replace same item. Used in veterinary surgery where we find them to be less scarey to animals than bigger, noisier clippers and give a close cut for surgery prep.

Can hardly hear this trimmer, does not frighten my dog and he just stands there and lets me trim without any tantrums

Use on a daily basis on ears and pads. Really quiet and very easy to manipulate. Wouldn't be without it.

Quiet, work well and what was needed. Waiting to see how well they last... Good service from Christies.

This isn't bad good for getting into small places and inside the ears. I've used it for pads but find my Acro Mini better as the blade is slightly larger but I'm happy with it.

Does the Aesculap Exacta Trimmer come with a blade ? Thank you
Camille from United Kingdom asks
Without the attachment comb, how close does this trimmer cut? Would it be the same as a 30 blade for pads or a 10blade for the sanitary area? With the comb attachments on, what would be appropriate to tackle? I am used to using the arco trimmer but want to branch out to have a smaller model too. Thanks!

I have had this trimmer since November last year and despite being absolutely scrupulous about oiling and cleaning the blade as per the operating instructions am now faced with needing to purchase a third blade as the first and second ones fail to cut after only a few weeks. The trimmer is lightly used for feet pads and faces on a max of 10 dogs per week. Do you feel that this is normal or could the trimmer have a fault as non of the reviewers have mentioned short blade life. Many thanks
