I was on the search for a new clipper for my dogs, after the last of the several cheap clippers failed me (yet again)! Made up my mind to invest in a "REAL CLIPPER" which i could do some basic grooming for 4 dogs at home without spending 3-4 hours per dog. Spend countless hours online to do some research on my own, reading reviews on clippers, blades, product issues (if any), availability of product's replacement parts, features and etc... Narrowed down to Andis & Oster but finally decided on Andis Ultraedge Super mainly due to percentage ratio reviews of both brands and the visual attracting aesthetic design of the Ultraedge Lime Green. The common issues with the past clippers, tend to catch the hair easily but not AGC2. Cut was smooth with the No:10 Ultraedge blade (included in package) but tend to get hot after roughly 15 minutes of continuous usage, which in my opinion, an acceptable time-frame (considering the friction caused by the blade over (3400 spm X 15 mins) 51000 abrading strokes. Ordered the ceramic blades and comb guards (yet to come) to prolong the usage (before blade gets too hot) and hopefully, lessen the grooming time for all 4 dogs (which usually takes up more than half a day) I'm glad with my purchase and hope this review helps!

I love Andis clippers and have always used them. I have bought the orange and green pairs, the colours are great. I have always found Andis clippers to be reliable and easy enough to find replacement parts.

quite heavy but easy to use, cut very easily & much better with interchangeable blades rather than the comb guides. worth paying more for a professional model

my second pair of Andis. My old ones still work but Ai dropped them recently after 16 years of good service. I love green so couldn't resist this green version.

Only been using a couple weeks, but they're quiet and efficient and no problems thus far. Good purchase.

These feel like a tacky made in China toy.
I have had 4 Andis AGC2 Clippers and they weren't that bad for the price 165euro. I'd get about 9 months of grooming before they'd started to loose power and I'd have to by a new set. But the quality of this new set that I purchased are awful. They lack power and the blades get really hot after about 5 mins. I've actually started to use the old clippers that I replaced.
Don't buy these.
quiet smooth clipper in a great colour
