I have 2 border terriers and have suffered with Wahl clippers for years with the combs always falling off etc. I bought this set based on other reviews and they are a revelation! They really feel professional and sturdy and do the job sooooo much better! The finish on my dogs' coats is superb and I am not a professional dog groomer. Really pleased!!

My first impression upon opening the box was that these are serious clippers. Much heavier and somewhat larger than my old ones, I soon found these comfortable to hold in spite of the weight difference and very efficient in cutting my Shih Tzu's very fine soft hair. I'm only an amateur but my results have improved since using these.

Was a bit cautious buying yet another make of clippers having struggled so much in the past to trim my two border terriers coats. Not any more - these are just brilliant. Lightweight enough and easy to hold, I put the No. 5 Blade on and it and they trim the coat really well, none of this going over and over the same spot! Would highly recommend the Andis Clipper!

For our new standard I wanted to cut her fur myself. I bought a WAHL small clipper with combs but the combs were plastic and broke. It took ages.
On talking to the guys at Christies I bought this clipper with a #5 head. It's great for cutting through with a single thickness all over. I'm not going for any beauty contests but I can keep my dog trimmed easily and quickly.
Thanks for the good advice at Christies.

Previously used some cheap rechargeable clippers which were ok but the job took a lot longer. These make the job a lot quicker and easier for my curly c**kapoo. They do get a little hot so I did need to cool them off for a short while, which slowed down the job a little. I think a blade switch would be needed to complete the job in one go. Overall though these clippers are very good.

I am happy with the clippers although I misunderstood the advert and thought it said it came with ten blades ...instead of a number ten blade only. I will have to purchase other blades now and that was a cost I hadn't factored in. My mistake but it was only on closer inspection that I noticed it...so the add was a little misleading. That's life.

I bought these clippers to use on our dog after my old cheaper clippers had driven me to dispair. These ones are fantastic. I got the job done in half the time, and they are much quieter. Would definitely recommend them.

I have got 3 Springers and used a cheap trimmer but this was useless. So I got this trimmer, it was so easy to use and fast, mind you I still have a bit to learn about grooming. Should have gone to SpecSavers!

Got this as a replacement for another andis clipper, a little heavier but is super quiet and the dogs are good with the vibration and 2 speeds are great around sensitive areas with nervous dogs.
4/5 stars - Fab blade just quite weighty but quick to get use to.
