Christies Direct Customer Service
Christies Direct believe in customer confidence. We work hard to achieve our high ratio of return sales. Therefore we guarantee you satisfaction or your money back.
We make it a priority to ensure all items for sale in the Christies Direct web site are in supply, and that you receive what you have ordered. If for any reason an item is out of stock, we will notify you of when you can expect to take delivery of this item. If you do not wish to wait for the late delivery, then you have the right to cancel your order for that item. Please note we will only charge you for items we can despatch.

Method of Payment
Payment for goods ordered should be made by credit card. You will receive confirmation that the transaction has been authorised and that your card has been debited. You will also receive a reference number with this confirmation, which will be required for any correspondence. Payment may also be made by cheque in accordance with the procedures outlined in the purchase process.
False Orders
All attempts to place false orders or attempts to deceive will be reported to the police.
Returns Policy
Always keep your invoice as this is your proof of our guarantee. If you return an item you are not pleased with, or which is faulty, or which has been damaged in transit, the item must be returned to us in its original packaging and original condition. Genuinely faulty goods will be credited in full for the item and return P&P. This does not affect your statutory rights. Returned items which are not faulty you will be credited for the purchase price excluding any carriage costs.

Searching
You can search for products by code or by a keyword in the search box at the top right of the website. The search can be limited to the shop or category you are currently in or be extended to the whole site.
Using the Basket
To add a product to your basket enter a quantity and click on the buy button on the product info page, or
click the buy button beside the product on the list page this will only add one to the basket. A list of what is in your basket can be found at the right hand side of the main website. The edit feature of the basket allows you to remove products, change quantities, and add multiple items directly by using either the product or stock codes. After making any changes to the basket, click the recalculate button to update the totals. To delete an item form your basket click on the waste bin icon to the right of the item's price.
Making a Purchase
To make the purchase click on the purchase button on the shopping basket on the right of the screen.
If you are not logged in at this stage you will be prompted to do so now. If you have not already registered, click on the link to the registration form. On the purchase page you will be able to check your order. You are able to choose a delivery address, by default this is the address you filled in at registration, but other address can be added by clicking the add button. Payment methods can also be added at this stage. A choice of delivery methods is available depending on your account status and the quantity of your order.
Order Status/History
In order status/history you can access previous and current orders for creating duplicate orders, and checking the status of current orders.
Account Preferences
Under manage my account you are able to alter account details, add, edit or remove delivery and payment
details and customise shopping details. This includes changing your default shop and adding or removing your name from the mailing list. You can also add items to your reorder list, where you can place frequently ordered items, which will appear in the reorder list at the bottom right of any page when you have logged in.
